What We Collect

• A TikTok OpenID — an app-specific ID that TikTok gives us when you open the game. We use it only to link your best score to you. We never receive your TikTok username, display name, profile photo, password, contacts or messages.
• Your best distance and your in-game rank (for example "Senior").

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location, device information or payment details.

Stored on Your Device

Your game progress (notes, upgrades, assignments, rank, streak and settings) is kept in TikTok's mini-game storage on your device. It is not sent to us.

Where Your Data Is Stored

Leaderboard data is stored with Cloudflare, Inc., in data centers in the United States, and is encrypted at rest and in transit. It is never stored or processed in China (including Hong Kong and Macau), Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia or Venezuela.

What Other Players See

The TOP RUNS leaderboard shows only your rank and best distance — never your name or TikTok username.

Advertising

The game offers optional rewarded video ads, served by TikTok, which you choose to watch (for example, to continue a run or double your notes). TikTok may process data for these ads under TikTok's Privacy Policy. We never share our leaderboard data with advertisers.

Keeping and Deleting Your Data

We keep your leaderboard entry while the leaderboard is active. To have it deleted, email nicholas@luckystepllc.com with your best distance, rank and the approximate date you last played, and we will remove it.

Children

TikTok requires users to be 13 or older. Degree Dash is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to This Policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
